Our Story
Narragansett Bay Baptist Church is, without reservation, a Bible-believing, independent, fundamental Baptist church where God’s Word is accepted as the final authority in everything we say and do.
Tracing our history back to the year 2003, NBBC was blessed into existence as a faith community serious about our belief in and our obedience to the God revealed to us in His Word, the Bible. Our mission statement reveals a simple declaration of our growing walk with God as we passionately endeavor to please Him in all that we do by… obeying God’s Word, caring for our community, and reaching our broken world.
NBBC is dedicated to the teaching of God’s Word and the spread of the gospel. Through the weekly opportunities for preaching, teaching, and fellowship, we seek to learn and mature in our relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Hello, my name is Dru Merrill. I am the pastor at Narragansett Bay Baptist Church, in Warwick, RI. The Lord called me to NBBC in March of 2021. I attended Calvary Baptist Bible College in King, NC where I received a bachelor's degree in pastoral theology. While attending college I met my wife Heather. We were married in December 2017. We were blessed with our daughter Evelyn in June 2020.
